Associated short and regular implants for complete denture retention in an atrophic mandible: clinical follow-up

Objective: to present the radiographic clinical follow-up of prosthetic rehabilitation a patient with an atrophic mandible, installation short implants associated implant regular length. Method: case report completely edentulous mandible and 6-year conducted at dental clinic Federal University Piauí, Teresina, from February 2011 January 2020. After collecting sociodemographic data, health records, examinations, surgical planning, four were installed between mental foramina. three months, mini-conical abutments fixed prosthesis screwed onto monitored every six months for period years. Results: evaluation revealed tissue stability without significant peri-implant changes after period. Radiographically, bone resorption was not observed around implant. Stability absence complications during Conclusion: regular-length can be placed in anterior region complete dentures.
